In The Pines is an annual music festival held in UWA's Sommerville pine tree auditorium. by radio station RTRFM. Together myself and Tee Ken Ng created an animation machine (Automata) from pine. The Automata was used to film clips and shoot stills for the posters. The design is based on an old hand wound record player, with the main spinning feature based on a pine tree made of offset disks.
The mini-campaign video and social components had sound designed under my direction by RTRFM studio. I then created differing clips including Instagram loops and longer clips with the bands names scrolling through an animation machine from a paper a roll. The campaign was successful with festival tickets selling out.
