Filmed over a few months in Tee Ken's studio, this behind-the-scenes short film explores how Tee Ken created the extraordinary Tim Minchin "Leaving LA" music video. Directed and edited by Jess Black, filmed by myself, Cam Campbell, and color-graded by Paul Komadina, with additional footage by Sebastian Mrugalski.
The behind-the-scenes clip eventually accompanied the Tee-Ken and Tim Minchin exhibit at the Art Gallery of Western Australia. When Ken kindly asked me to document the process through video and photography, I never realised how big it would become.
