This viral clip was directed and filmed by myself for Penny Skateboards Australia. The idea was to show the distance and fun of traveling on a Penny skateboard within a 30-second clip. I manipulated distance with split moving frames of cool colour murals. This clip was viewed over 1 million times across Penny's website, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Vimeo. My friend Jaime that helped by editing the clip was invited to work for Penny as an editor , leading to me towards photographing and filming some future content.
The Penny Marbles Series was filmed and photographed on Bribie Island, Queensland, in collaboration with the Penny Skateboards Marketing Team. The clip tells the story of skaters chasing marbles to an epic skate bowl. This clip and my photographs ran as an advert for the Marble series on Penny's global websites, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Vimeo.
